Mark Mosely has provided perspective coverage on international relief/general humanitarian aid and development on CNN International, CNN Domestic, British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), ABC, NBC and CBS; as well as in Associated Press member newspapers and professional journals.
In coordination with INGO, UN and US government relationships, Mosely has been engaged in many of the major complex humanitarian emergencies of the last 25 years: Former Yugoslavia [Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo] (wartime refugees); Rwanda [+Tanzania and DRC] (genocide);
Indonesia (tsunami response); Haiti (earthquake relief); Philippines (typhoon disaster); West Africa (Ebola and buruli ulcer support); South Sudan (nation building/civil strife); Vietnam (post-U.S. embargo humanitarian airlift).
Mark has served in senior level management positions with Partners in Health, Harvard Medical School Program In Infectious Disease & Social Change (PIDSC), MAP International, and Cross International. This crisis management, disaster relief and sustainable development experience has forged ‘lessons learned/best practices’ context through United Nations-defined complex humanitarian emergencies and armed conflicts.
